Welcome to ICTAST 2026

The 2026 2nd International Conference on Technological Advancements and Societal Transformation (ICTAST 2026) will be held in Guangzhou, China, from October 23 to 25, 2026. The conference aims to provide a high-level international platform for scholars, researchers, industry professionals, and practitioners to exchange ideas and present recent advances in artificial intelligence, digital technologies, intelligent manufacturing, financial technology, social governance, sustainable development, and related fields. It will also facilitate in-depth discussions on the impact of technological innovation on economic development, industrial transformation, and societal change.


Through keynote speeches, oral presentations, thematic sessions, and academic discussions, ICTAST 2026 will promote interdisciplinary knowledge exchange and international research collaboration while strengthening the integration of technological research with practical societal needs. During the conference, the Organizing Committee will select and recognize three Outstanding Papers based on their originality, academic value, methodological rigor, and presentation quality. Scholars and professionals worldwide are warmly invited to gather in Guangzhou, share cutting-edge research, and explore new pathways toward the coordinated development of technology and society.

ICTAST 2026 | Publication & Indexing

All papers will be reviewed by two or three expert reviewers from the conference committees. After a careful reviewing process, all accepted papers will be published and be submitted for CPCI, CNKI  and Googlescholar.

Note: All submitted articles should report original research results, experimental or theoretical, not previously published or under consideration for publication elsewhere. Articles submitted to the conference should meet these criteria. We firmly believe that ethical conduct is the most essential virtue of any academics. Hence, any act of plagiarism or other misconduct is totally unacceptable and cannot be tolerated.

Contribution Guidelines

1. Submission Deadline: All manuscripts must be submitted by October 10, 2026.

2. Originality: Submissions must be original and must not have been published or submitted elsewhere. Duplicate submissions will be rejected immediately.

3. Language and Length: Papers must be written in English and contain at least 4 full pages, including figures, tables, references, and appendices.

4. Academic Integrity: Manuscripts must comply with academic and ethical standards and must not contain sensitive, inappropriate, or unethical content.

5. Similarity Requirement: The similarity rate, checked through CrossCheck or Turnitin, must be below 18%, excluding references. Papers exceeding this limit will be rejected without review.

6. Formatting Quality: Manuscripts must be clear, readable, and professionally formatted. Figures, tables, equations, and symbols should follow standard academic conventions.

7. Official Template: Authors must format their manuscripts using the official ICTAST 2026 paper template before submission.

Topics of Interests

ICTAST 2026 invites original research papers that examine the interplay between technological progress and societal change. Submissions are welcomed from all academic disciplines.

Track 1: Technological Innovations and Engineering Systems

Computer science, artificial intelligence, electrical and mechanical engineering, environmental engineering, materials science, biotechnology, and related technical fields.

Track 2: Environmental, Geographical, and Life Sciences

Environmental sustainability, climate science, geography, ecology, biological sciences, earth systems, and resource management.

Track 3: Humanities, Social Sciences, and Policy

History, law, psychology, education, sociology, public policy, ethics, and interdisciplinary studies of societal transformation.


All contributions that address technological advancements and their broader societal implications are encouraged.
